Tea-time

Yesterday we hosted a tea for members of our shul.  Apart from being an opportunity to chat with people in a relaxed atmosphere, it had a number of side benefits:

1) My kitchen has never been that clean and tidy on a Sunday afternoon!  It was great, until we ate supper…

2) We had borekas for breakfast, a plate of cake ready for tea when my in-laws visit later, and cake stashed in the freezer for other days

3) I met some people who have read my blog and aren’t related to me!

A big thank you to our children who stayed in/came home specially, and helped bake, set up and clear up afterwards!
